The movie tries to show a rather different story to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York and the following decisions of government that recurred from it, mainly the Iraq war. Tough the film has it’s merit, in the sense that much of the information is true and had never been commented by the local media, most of it - as a trustable source - is lost by precisely the means which characterise the essay kind. staged, photoshoped scenes exist (in bowling in columbine they are more common) but the ultimate act in the creation of a parallel reality, that of Moore’s mind, is the montage. Some speeches are chronologically altered and, in a politically charged Marker, the images are not mounted according to any law but that of obeying Moore’s voice. Farenheit’s final conquest is the persuasiveness that can be obtained by cinematic means, surely a lesson for many modern directors.
